Ignite presentation - learner response

- Sets out text and debate briefly - opening
lacks a little confidence but improves
context provided - good structure and sets out the key aspect of the film
- Historical context is important - knowledge of film is clear here. However more detailed textual analysis and images would a lot to this presentation
- Depth of analysis/ media terminology is not sufficient for A2 but does at least provide a starting point.
- Structure and rehearsal weaker in middle than opening - jumps around a little and loses thread.
- Target audience - 80% male? is this true?
- could definitely make more of lack of historical accuracy - does this matter in this kind of film
- lack of focus on main issue - rep of homosexuality - is a major weakness and would need addressing for crit investigation

For my critical investigation I will not be using this media debate for my critical investigation
